Privacy Policy

Effective October 23, 2026

This policy explains how Geo Browser PB LLC (Geo) handles personal information in the Geo application, website, and related services. It covers information you provide, information generated when you use Geo, and information you choose to make available through connected services such as Google.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: email address, profile information you provide, and information needed to respond to support, newsletter, or deletion requests.
  • Participation and content: information you choose to submit or share through Geo, such as contributions, comments, votes, debate participation, recordings, voice, and likeness where a feature involves them.
  • Transactions: wallet addresses, transaction records, subscription, and billing information when you use features that involve them. Payment or network providers may also handle information under their own policies.
  • Usage and technical information: pages and features used, interactions, device and browser information, network information, cookies, local storage, and identifiers used to operate Geo, measure usage, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. Our analytics can include account email addresses.

2. Google sign-in and Calendar

If you sign in with Google, Geo receives your email address to identify your account. If you separately connect Google Calendar, Geo accesses free/busy availability to help find times for debates. We store only busy time ranges for approximately 96 days ahead, not event titles, descriptions, attendees, or other event details. We refresh availability approximately every 15 minutes while the calendar is connected.

When you choose to share your availability for scheduling, other debate participants can see your free/busy availability. Disconnecting your Google Calendar deletes the calendar data and connection credentials we stored for that connection and revokes Geo's access with Google.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide accounts, debates, scheduling, and other features you use;
  • display and share content or availability when you choose to do so;
  • process transactions and respond to requests;
  • analyze use of Geo, including with account email addresses, to understand and improve user-facing features;
  • protect Geo and its users, investigate abuse, and fix problems; and
  • meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. When information is shared

We do not sell or resell personal information. We share information with people you choose to share it with, including debate participants who receive your shared free/busy availability. Contributions and other content you choose to publish may be visible publicly. Information recorded on a public network may remain visible through that network.

We use service providers and subcontractors working directly for Geo to host and operate the service, provide analytics, handle support and subscriptions, and protect our systems. The website uses Vercel Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and our own analytics service. If you subscribe to updates or submit a website help request, we provide the information you enter to MailerLite to handle that request. These providers receive information only for their work for Geo. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Google Limited Use

Geo uses information received from Google APIs, including data derived from it, only to provide or improve user-facing Geo features. We do not use it for advertising, sell it, or use it to create, train, or improve general artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

6. How we protect information

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. Google login and calendar connection tokens are encrypted. Access to personal information is limited to people and providers who need it to perform their work for Geo. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention and deletion

While your Google Calendar is connected, Geo keeps a rolling set of busy time ranges for approximately 96 days ahead. Disconnecting the calendar deletes the calendar data and connection credentials we stored and revokes our access with Google. The 96-day lookahead describes the range of availability checked; it is not a 96-day retention period.

We keep other personal information while needed to provide the services you use and for legitimate operational, security, recordkeeping, and legal purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable legal obligations and the limits of public or decentralized records. You can request deletion at any time as described below.

8. Your choices and rights

You can disconnect Google Calendar to remove Geo's access and delete the calendar information stored for that connection. To request access, correction, or deletion of other personal information, email contact@geobrowser.io. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law; some information may need to be kept for legal, security, or recordkeeping reasons. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message.

9. Other details

Geo is based in the United States, and information may be processed there or wherever our service providers operate. Geo is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We may update this policy when our practices change. If a change materially affects how we use information received from Google, we will notify affected users and obtain any required consent before using it for a new purpose.
